Baker Hughes is seeking a Field Engineer - Coiled Tubing to join its Pressure Pumping Team. This full-time position is for professionals with 5-10 years of experience in coiled tubing operations. The role involves executing operations on machined parts to high quality standards and contributing to the plant's production schedule, offering opportunities for skill development within an innovative product environment.

Role Overview and Contribution

The Pressure Pumping Team at Baker Hughes integrates advanced physical and digital technologies to create innovative oilfield equipment. This includes developing smarter systems for controlling and monitoring oil and gas extraction, alongside industry-leading surface pressure capabilities. As a Field Engineer, you will play a direct role in ensuring high-quality standards throughout the operational and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating and monitoring coiled tubing units, injector heads, reels, and control systems.
• Monitoring real-time operational parameters such as tubing depth, weight, pump rates, and well pressure.
• Performing pre-job inspections, function tests, pressure testing of equipment, and conducting basic maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Conducting comprehensive risk assessments and ensuring strict compliance with Baker Hughes and customer HSE requirements.
• Recording accurate operational data and preparing detailed job reports for customers.
• Coordinating effectively with customers, rig crews, and other service providers to ensure seamless operations.
• Mentoring operators and junior personnel while upholding high operational standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Petroleum, Electrical, or a related Engineering discipline (preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in coiled tubing operations and oilfield services.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of coiled tubing equipment, including pressure control equipment such as BOPs, strippers, and lubricators.
• Proficiency in Nitrogen pumping and Well intervention operations.
• Robust understanding of HSE procedures and risk management principles.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment.
