About the Role

Integrated Solutions Tawantech is seeking a Fixed Assets Accountant-Banking to join their team. This is a full-time position designed for professionals with 0-1 years of experience. The role focuses on managing and maintaining the fixed assets accounting function within a banking context, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established standards and policies.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure accurate asset records, uphold compliance with accounting standards and internal policies, and maintain effective financial control over capital expenditures and fixed assets. The Fixed Assets Accountant will be instrumental in the precise management of the company's fixed asset portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile the fixed assets register, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting policies.
• Review and process asset capitalization requests in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• Process fixed asset transfers, disposals, and write-offs.
• Perform periodic verification of fixed assets and investigate any discrepancies.
• Review CAPEX requests and ensure compliance with approved accounting policies and procedures.
• Monitor capital projects and ensure timely capitalization upon project completion.
• Prepare management reports and analysis related to CAPEX, depreciation, and fixed assets.
• Calculate and review depreciation expenses, ensuring accurate accounting records.
• Support internal and external audits by providing relevant fixed assets documentation and reconciliations.
• Recommend process improvements and strengthen internal controls over fixed assets.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure proper asset tracking and accurate financial reporting.

Experience Required

Candidates should possess 0-1 years of experience in a relevant accounting role, preferably with exposure to fixed asset management or the banking sector. This foundational experience will enable the successful candidate to effectively manage the responsibilities outlined for this position.
