Fund Accountant

About the Role

Apex Group Ltd. is seeking a Fund Accountant to join its team in KSA. This full-time role within FundRock, a leading independent UCITS management company and AIFM, offers the opportunity to contribute to a growing organization and make a direct impact.

Role Contribution and Environment

The Fund Accountant will operate within a dynamic, fast-paced, and multicultural team, engaging with a diverse and global product line. This position provides significant visibility within the organization and the chance to influence the Apex Business function in KSA. Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all work complies with fund terms and conditions, relevant regulatory requirements, and anti-money laundering regulations.
• Maintain adherence to the firm’s policies and procedures.
• Assist senior team members and seek coaching as required.
• Generate necessary reports punctually.
• Serve as the primary contact for accounting matters for entities and foster strong client relationships.
• Review work performed by offshore teams to ensure accuracy.
• Timely review and submission of Net Asset Value (NAV) to clients in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Provide backup for Transfer Agency functions.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Experience, preferably as a Fund Accountant or in an equivalent role.
• Strong educational background, preferably in accounting.
• Proactive approach with a drive to advance initiatives.
• Ability to meet agreed deadlines.
• Flexibility in work approach to meet client deliverables due to the nature of the role.
• Capacity to multi-task and perform effectively in a demanding environment.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to address complex issues.
• A participative management style focused on motivating staff and developing their skills.
• Experience in the comprehensive fund administration process, including NAV calculation, pricing, corporate actions processing, performance fee calculation, shareholder services, and AML/KYC verifications.
