IFV Registered Nurse

About the Role

Fakeeh Care Group is seeking an IFV Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care in a clinical setting in Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves assessing patient health needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and maintaining medical records. The Registered Nurse will collaborate closely with physicians, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of patient health, including physical examinations, vital signs, and symptom monitoring.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring for side effects or adverse reactions.
• Provide wound care, including cleaning, dressing, and monitoring for signs of infection.
• Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals during medical procedures and diagnostic tests.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, and preventive measures.
• Observe and record patient conditions, reporting significant changes to the medical team.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care as needed.
• Conduct purposeful rounding to ensure patient needs are met and prevent complications.
• Adhere to strict infection control standards, including hand hygiene, PPE use, and proper handling of hazardous materials.
• Participate in infection control surveillance and reporting.
• Maintain cleanliness of patient items and equipment according to Fakeeh Care policies.
• Follow established protocols for emergencies (*, codes, RRT) to ensure patient safety.
• Innovate in patient care and implement evidence-based practices.

Administrative and Supportive Duties

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient care records, including observations, interventions, and responses.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure coordinated care.
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families, addressing concerns and offering reassurance.
• Advocate for patients' needs and preferences, ensuring their rights are respected.
• Oversee the work of junior staff and nursing students, providing guidance and support.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, therapists, and social workers.
• Identify and address issues in patient care, contributing to solutions and improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the nursing manager within the scope of the job.

• Complete mandatory education requirements at least one month prior to expiration.
