The Role: IT Solutions Analyst Procurement

The IT Solutions Analyst Procurement is a full-time position based in Saudi Arabia, responsible for supporting the procurement process for IT solutions and services within ASMO. This role involves collaboration with procurement stakeholders to understand their IT solution needs and requirements, ensuring compliance and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and evaluate potential IT Procurement solution vendors and service providers based on capabilities, expertise, pricing, and contractual terms.
• Coordinate and participate in vendor meetings, demonstrations, and evaluations to assess suitability for meeting IT needs.
• Collaborate with procurement and legal teams to negotiate contracts, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and pricing terms with selected vendors.
• Support the end-to-end procurement process for IT solutions, including the creation of Request for Proposals (RFPs), bid evaluation, and vendor selection.
• Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage procurement documentation, supplier contracts, and purchase orders related to IT solutions.
• Conduct cost analysis and budgeting for IT solutions within Procurement, assessing total cost of ownership and Return on Investment (ROI).
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization, such as volume discounts, contract renegotiation, or alternative sourcing strategies.
• Track and report on IT solution procurement spend and achieved cost savings.
• Stay informed about the latest IT solution trends, innovations, and emerging technologies relevant to the organization's needs.
• Conduct market research and benchmarking to identify new vendors, solutions, and procurement best practices.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Knowledge of rules, procedures, principles, and practices within IT Business Solutions and Procurement disciplines.
• Ability to selectively extract, verify, and compile objective and measurable data.
• Experience in determining courses of action based on established principles and modifying existing processes and methods.
• 5-10 years of relevant experience in IT procurement or a related field.
