Mechanical Supervisor

About the Role

ACWA Power is seeking experienced Mechanical Supervisors for full-time opportunities within RO desalination and CCGT power plants across Saudi Arabia. This role involves supervising preventive, corrective, and condition-based mechanical maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability, safe work execution, and efficient deployment of maintenance personnel during routine operations, planned outages, and overhauls.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise preventive, corrective, and condition-based maintenance for rotating and static mechanical equipment.
• Oversee the maintenance of pumps, compressors, valves, piping systems, bearings, seals, and other mechanical equipment.
• Coordinate mechanical maintenance activities across RO desalination systems or CCGT turbine auxiliaries, cooling-water systems, and balance-of-plant equipment.
• Lead mechanical technicians in troubleshooting, equipment inspections, repairs, planned outages, and overhauls.
• Supervise equipment alignment, lubrication, condition monitoring, and mechanical testing to ensure reliable equipment performance.
• Ensure proper implementation of equipment isolation, permit-to-work requirements, and safe return-to-service procedures.
• Manage maintenance work orders through CMMS/SAP, review technical drawings and OEM manuals, and coordinate spare parts, tools, and resources.
• Provide technical guidance, on-the-job training, and performance supervision while ensuring compliance with HSE and quality standards.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical supervision.
• Demonstrated experience in RO desalination and/or CCGT power plants.
• Proficiency in managing maintenance work orders using CMMS/SAP.
• Strong understanding of HSE and quality standards in mechanical maintenance.

Work Conditions

This is a plant-based position located in Saudi Arabia. The role requires availability to support planned outages, equipment overhauls, and emergency maintenance activities as needed.
