UrbaCon Contracting & Trading Company is seeking a Mep Construction Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of MEP construction projects. This is a full-time position for professionals with 8-10 years of experience in the field.

Role Summary

The MEP Construction Manager is responsible for ensuring that mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems are installed and function efficiently within building projects. This role involves coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure MEP systems are designed, installed, and commissioned according to project specifications, codes, and industry standards. The manager will also oversee budgeting, scheduling, and procurement related to MEP systems, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget, while monitoring quality control, safety, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and timelines for MEP systems to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
• Lead architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to integrate MEP systems seamlessly into overall project plans.
• Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems, ensuring compliance with design specifications, codes, and standards.
• Implement quality control procedures to ensure high standards of workmanship and adherence to safety regulations.
• Manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
• Approve and manage MEP contractors, suppliers, and vendors, negotiating contracts and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
• Identify and resolve issues related to MEP systems during construction, minimizing delays and maintaining project progress.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and as-built drawings.
• Ensure all MEP work complies with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Communicate regularly with clients and stakeholders, providing updates on project status, addressing concerns, and ensuring satisfaction with the final outcomes.
• Support the implementation of HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in alignment with company and IMS policies.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in MEP construction management.
