Pay Master / General Cashier (Saudi Only)

About the Role

Sheraton is seeking a Pay Master / General Cashier to join their team. This full-time role is open to Saudi nationals only and involves ensuring the accuracy and proper handling of financial transactions and records. The position requires meticulous attention to detail in checking, organizing, and maintaining financial documents and cash equivalents, as well as active participation in audit processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes.
• Organize, secure, and maintain all files, records, cash, and cash equivalents in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Record, store, access, and analyze computerized financial information.
• Classify, code, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and maintain financial records using journals, ledgers, or computers.
• Complete period-end closing procedures and reports as specified.
• Conduct periodic audits of cashier banks according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Maintain, distribute, and record petty cash, cashier banks, and contracts.
• Document, maintain, communicate, and act upon all cash variances in accordance with SOPs.
• Serve as the liaison between the property and armored car services or primary banking institutions.
• Participate in internal, external, and regulatory audit processes, ensuring compliance with SOPs.

General Duties and Professional Conduct

• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, ensuring a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets, as well as the privacy and security of guests and coworkers.
• Communicate professionally and clearly, prepare and review written documents accurately, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
• Foster positive working relationships, support team goals, and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
• Perform physical tasks such as moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
• Execute other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
