Senior Lead IT Security Delivery

About the Role

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a Senior Lead - IT Security Delivery to manage the build readiness, testing orchestration, and controlled handover of IT Security initiatives. This full-time role involves close coordination with design teams, enforcing governance gates, resolving defects, and producing audit-ready validation packs for assigned programs across corporate and asset IT Security efforts.

Core Responsibilities

• Operate exit-gate governance across environments, verifying prerequisites such as access, certificates, backups, and rollback procedures.
• Supervise Go/No-Go forums and ensure thorough documentation of risks, exceptions, and compensating controls with Cybersecurity sign-off.
• Maintain change calendars aligned to asset windows and blackout periods.
• Supervise the development of end-to-end test plans covering functional, negative, resilience, and integration scenarios, ensuring observer participation from Operations and platform SMEs.
• Manage defect triage, assigning owners and severity, tracking fix SLAs and re-tests.
• Maintain RAID logs, escalate blockers, and quantify residual risk at release.
• Supervise compilation of validation packs (plans, results, evidence, traceability matrices), ensuring versioned storage and approvals.
• Ensure achievement of first-pass acceptance by QA/Excellence and quick resolution of returns.
• Validate runbooks, monitoring/alerting, and L1/L2 training completion.
• Confirm operational SLOs, Disaster Recovery (DR) artifacts, SIEM/SOAR mappings, and case workflows prior to go-live.
• Facilitate cutover rehearsals, publish communications plans, RACI matrices, and hyper care schedules.
• Provide weekly readiness dashboards and risk summaries to governance forums.
• Track change success rate and update checklists accordingly for continuous improvement.

Security Control Evaluation and Implementation

• Lead the evaluation of IT Security controls, technologies, and solutions to ensure alignment with organizational strategy, Cybersecurity requirements, business priorities, and operational needs.
• Oversee Proof of Concept (POC) activities, including scope definition, success criteria, stakeholder alignment, execution oversight, and outcome reporting.
• Assess solution suitability based on security effectiveness, integration capability, scalability, compliance alignment, operational impact, supportability, and long-term value.
• Recommend fit-for-purpose IT Security controls and technology solutions based on outcomes, risk reduction value, operational readiness, and enterprise direction.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or an equivalent field from a recognized and accredited university is required.
• A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or an equivalent field from a recognized and accredited university is preferred.

Experience

Candidates should possess 6-8 years of relevant professional experience in IT security delivery or a related field.
