Role Overview

Baker Hughes is seeking a Senior Reliability Engineer to join the Cordant™ Solutions Consulting Services Team. This full-time role involves applying reliability techniques across various industries and client organizations. The position requires a professional who can act as an advisor, coach, and trainer in reliability methodologies, contributing to business development and leading projects.

Responsibilities

• Apply a wide variety of reliability techniques across diverse industries and client organizations.
• Manage projects and demonstrate leadership capabilities in influencing and developing others.
• Act as an advisor, coach, and trainer in various Reliability methods and approaches.
• Actively engage in business development with a deep understanding of Asset Strategy Management (ASM) and Asset Performance Management (APM) approaches to identify optimal outcomes for client success.
• Lead by example, creating multiple options to achieve optimal outcomes and demonstrating behaviors that enhance the success of others.
• Work as part of a team, often as a team leader, to guide and influence fellow Engineers and Consultants.
• Apply broad knowledge of principles and practices in a specific practice area.
• Independently evaluate, select, and adapt standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.
• Acquire general knowledge of principles and practices of related fields, and function effectively on multidisciplinary teams.
• Work on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects.

Required Experience and Skills

Candidates for the Senior Reliability Engineer position should possess 8-10 years of experience in a relevant field. The role requires individuals who are highly effective coaches and mentors, skilled in training others in reliability methodologies and approaches such as Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).

Consulting Services Focus

The RCM and FMEA consulting services provided by Baker Hughes assist industrial facilities in identifying equipment failure risks and developing data-driven maintenance plans. The Senior Reliability Engineer will play a key role in delivering these services and ensuring client success.
