About the Company and Opportunity

Hill International (KSA) is seeking a Sr Quantity Surveyor - Road to join our team. This full-time position is critical for overseeing and managing the quantity surveying aspects of our road and infrastructure projects within Saudi Arabia.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor Role

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of our Project Management Consultancy (PMC) projects. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle, with a specific focus on road and infrastructure developments.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of quantity surveyors, providing guidance and support.
• Prepare and review cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents for road projects.
• Conduct detailed cost analysis and provide accurate cost forecasts.
• Negotiate and manage subcontractor agreements, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
• Monitor and control project costs, identifying potential cost overruns and implementing cost-saving measures.
• Prepare and submit progress reports, highlighting key milestones and project status.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve cost-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, standards, and contract conditions.
• Provide expert advice and recommendations on cost-effective solutions for road infrastructure.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in quantity surveying, with a strong background in road and infrastructure projects.
• Professional membership with a recognized institution, such as RICS or an equivalent professional body.
• Willingness to travel within Saudi Arabia for project-related activities as required.

Assignment Details

The assignment for this Senior Quantity Surveyor position is scheduled to continue until the end of 2026, with the possibility of extension based on project requirements and performance.
