Supv II Food & Beverage

About the Role

Sheraton is seeking a Supv II-Food & Beverage to join their team in a full-time capacity. This role involves overseeing daily operations to ensure optimal service delivery and guest satisfaction within the food and beverage department. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining high standards of service, safety, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure staff collaboration for optimum service and guest satisfaction.
• Inspect staff grooming and attire, addressing any deficiencies.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies, cleaning, and securing premises.
• Inspect storage areas for organization, adherence to FIFO principles, and cleanliness.
• Conduct scheduled inventories, stock, and requisition necessary supplies.
• Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service quality, and guest safety and well-being.
• Complete work orders for maintenance repairs.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
• Serve as a role model and initial point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy.
• Adhere to all company, safety, and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions.
• Ensure a professional appearance, maintain confidentiality, and protect company assets.
• Welcome guests according to company standards, anticipate needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation.
• Communicate professionally and clearly with others.
• Develop positive working relationships, support team goals, and respond to employee concerns.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
• Identify, recommend, develop, and implement improvements for organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost-savings.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats.
• Capability to visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines for defects.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift.
• Capable of moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Proficiency in grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to navigate narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, and move up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
• Capability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Completion of safety training and certifications.
