Technical Enablement Lead

About the Role

Hill International (KSA) is seeking a Technical Enablement Lead to provide leadership and guidance for water and wastewater infrastructure projects. This full-time role involves ensuring technical excellence, managing knowledge, and building team capabilities within project execution. The position requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Technical Leadership and Project Guidance

The Technical Enablement Lead will provide essential technical leadership and guidance to project teams engaged in water and wastewater infrastructure initiatives. This includes collaborating with engineers, designers, and other specialists to develop innovative solutions and address project challenges effectively. A key aspect of this role is ensuring strict adherence to engineering standards, specifications, and best practices throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement knowledge management strategies to capture, organize, and disseminate technical expertise, lessons learned, and best practices.
• Establish repositories, databases, and platforms for storing technical documentation, design guidelines, and project deliverables.
• Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions, workshops, and training programs to transfer technical knowledge and skills to project team members.
• Identify competency gaps and training needs within project teams and develop tailored learning and development plans.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on technical aspects of project execution, including design, construction, and commissioning activities.
• Implement quality assurance processes and review mechanisms to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of technical deliverables.
• Conduct technical reviews, audits, and assessments to validate compliance with project requirements, specifications, and industry standards.
• Establish technical governance frameworks, standards, and guidelines for water and wastewater projects.
• Monitor project performance metrics, KPIs, and technical benchmarks to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, regulatory agencies, and technical partners, to address technical issues and foster collaboration.
• Communicate technical concepts, project updates, and risks clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in technical leadership or a related role within water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams.
• Experience in developing and implementing knowledge management strategies.
• Proven capability in capacity building, including mentoring and identifying training needs.
• Strong understanding of quality assurance processes and technical governance frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
