About Rosewood AMAALA and the Role

Rosewood AMAALA is seeking a dedicated Waiter/Waitress to join its team in Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is integral to delivering exceptional dining experiences, guided by the philosophy of Relationship Hospitality and A Sense of Place. The role requires 2-5 years of experience in a similar capacity within the luxury hospitality sector.

Role Purpose

The Waiter/Waitress plays a vital role in creating memorable culinary journeys for guests. This involves providing attentive, intuitive, and personalized service that reflects the luxury, warmth, and professionalism associated with Rosewood Hotels & Resorts. The position ensures that every guest interaction contributes to an outstanding dining experience, reflecting the culture and spirit of the Red Sea destination.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverage service in accordance with Rosewood brand standards and luxury hospitality expectations.
• Welcome guests warmly, present menus, and provide knowledgeable recommendations on food, beverages, wines, and specialty offerings.
• Take guest orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all requests and dietary preferences are effectively communicated.
• Serve food and beverages promptly, professionally, and according to established service standards.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of menu items, ingredients, preparation methods, beverage selections, and daily promotions.
• Ensure restaurant tables, service stations, and dining areas are impeccably maintained throughout service periods.
• Anticipate guest needs and provide personalized service to create memorable dining experiences.
• Process guest payments accurately using POS systems and follow all cash handling procedures.
• Handle guest concerns and special requests professionally and promptly, escalating issues when required.
• Assist in restaurant opening and closing procedures, including setup, breakdown, and preparation of service areas.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a luxury hotel or fine dining establishment.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality, attentive, and personalized food and beverage service.
• Proficiency in using Point of Sale (POS) systems for order processing and payment handling.

Operational Standards and Compliance

• Maintain compliance with food safety, hygiene, HACCP, health, and safety standards at all times.
• Support Forbes Travel Guide, LQA, and Rosewood service standards, ensuring consistency and excellence in every guest interaction.
• Participate in training programs, departmental meetings, and continuous learning initiatives to enhance service excellence.

Team Collaboration and Professional Conduct

• Work collaboratively with culinary, stewarding, and restaurant colleagues to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain a professional appearance, grooming, and conduct in accordance with company standards.
• Contribute to a positive team environment that fosters respect, collaboration, and genuine hospitality.
