The Opportunity: Analyst - Infrastructure Finance (Saudi Nationals)

HSBC is seeking an Analyst - Infrastructure Finance to join its team. This full-time role is open to Saudi Nationals with 0-1 years of experience. The Analyst will support the Infrastructure Finance teams in daily execution and business activities, contributing to the delivery of high-quality service management and solutions to clients by leveraging HSBC's knowledge and resources.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and assist in conducting preliminary financial and commercial due diligence, ensuring accuracy of financial models, and identifying investment risks.
• Create and analyze financial models, and develop company valuations.
• Assist Associates, Associate Directors, and Directors in performing analyses and preparing reports for clients and senior management.
• Prepare marketing materials for client pitches, roadshows, and other marketing activities to support business growth.
• Conduct market monitoring activities, report on market information and capital market performance periodically, and escalate any project risks or issues to the Director or Head of Unit.
• Perform research to assess the existing market environment, monitor changes in external policy guidelines, and evaluate their implications on project decisions.
• Produce regular reports for management and working groups.
• Prepare and maintain KYC documentation, conflict checks, closing files, and the department database, ensuring proper documentation and filing of all client and stakeholder documents.

Project Support and Reporting

• Support Directors on overall project planning through regular reporting on project schedules.
• Escalate potential delays or identified risks to Directors on an ongoing basis.
• Assist Directors in the preparation of project reports.

Candidate Requirements

This role is suitable for Saudi Nationals with 0-1 years of experience. Candidates should possess a foundational understanding of financial analysis and a strong willingness to learn and contribute within a dynamic investment banking environment.
