Role Overview: Commercial Contracts Senior Manager

As a Commercial Contracts Senior Manager at Honeywell Technologies in Saudi Arabia, you will be responsible for safeguarding the company’s interests in all transactions with customers, suppliers, and partners. This full-time position requires a professional with over 10 years of experience in commercial contracts and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure Honeywell’s interests are protected in all customer, supplier, and partner transactions through direct engagement.
• Establish the contractual and commercial framework for projects from inception to completion.
• Collaborate with Operations Teams to mitigate negative financial impacts promptly.
• Proactively assist with commercial solutions for any identified threats of negative deviation.
• Conduct thorough contract reviews.
• Advise and assist project teams on commercial practices related to scope changes and variation orders.
• Deploy standard Commercial Management methodologies in project delivery and control.
• Manage claims effectively.
• Advise on best practices for record-keeping concerning potential or pending claims and dispute resolution.
• Alert Operational Management and General Managers to commercial risk threats and recommend appropriate approaches.
• Provide ongoing support in assessing and validating Honeywell’s entitlement and quantifying damages to facilitate dispute resolution.
• Substantiate Honeywell’s position and achieve reasonable dispute resolutions, even in restrictive contractual language environments.
• Investigate and analyze the causes and effects of events, and prepare submissions.
• Manage commercial and contractual risks to project success.
• Work closely with the Legal Team.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial contracts and related fields.
• Demonstrated ability to establish and manage contractual frameworks for projects.
• Experience in risk management and dispute resolution.
• Proficiency in commercial management methodologies.
