About the Role

Luxury Collection is seeking a Cook III to join their team. This full-time position involves preparing and cooking food according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food preparation checklists. The role requires 0-1 years of experience in a related field.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food items.
• Wash, peel, weigh, measure, and mix fresh fruits and vegetables.
• Cook and prepare food following specified recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
• Monitor food quality during preparation and test food for sufficient cooking.
• Set up and break down the workstation, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
• Serve food in correct portions using appropriate receptacles.
• Wash and disinfect kitchen areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
• Verify and maintain correct temperatures for appliances and food items.

Workplace Standards and Safety

• Adhere to all company safety and security policies and procedures.
• Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management.
• Complete all required safety training and certifications.
• Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Communicate professionally and clearly with colleagues and supervisors.

Team Collaboration and Physical Requirements

• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members, supporting common goals.
• Listen and respond appropriately to concerns from other employees.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards in all tasks.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
