Customer Applications Procurements Assistant Manager

About the Role

stc is seeking a Customer Applications Procurements Assistant Manager to lead and manage all procurement activities related to customer applications. This full-time role involves taking ownership of the procurement process to ensure cost-effective service delivery aligned with strategic objectives and defined service level agreements. The role holder will operate in accordance with established business policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform all procurement activities for Customer Applications Procurements projects, from RFP development to supplier selection and contract signature.
• Provide input and execute sourcing strategies as directed by the supervising director.
• Complete and report purchasing requests to the supervising director.
• Lead purchasing requests, evaluate their completeness, classify them by value (*, risk, financial), and assign them to purchasing analysts.
• Assist in managing SLAs for Tendered/Non-Tendered Change Orders and Change Orders for the supplier market and spend categories.
• Execute service delivery functions and processes with a focus on implementation.
• Provide input to the supervising director on tracking supply market trends, including competitive pressures, new entrants, substituting products/services, and changes in the value chain.
• Contribute to developing segmentation criteria and mapping the supply base to desired relationship types.
• Provide input on supplier supply and financial risks to the supervising director.
• Manage and regularly update the catalogue of suppliers.
• Lead potential procurement synergies with other subsidiaries and manage their implementation in coordination with the Synergies department.
• Manage business cases, including assessing the need for cross-functional resources, defining timeframes, and setting targets.
• Review historical data to identify demand/consumption trends and track deviations.
• Oversee business planning efforts in collaboration with the Technology Procurement Head.
• Participate in addressing evolving stc needs by collaborating with other sectors and prioritizing sourcing initiatives.
• Supervise purchasing requirements and project specifications with unit management and suppliers.

Experience Required

• Candidates should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in procurement, specifically within customer applications.
