The Role of Duty Manager

Accor is seeking a Duty Manager to join its team. This full-time position is suitable for individuals with 0-1 years of experience who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to delivering positive guest experiences. The role requires a team-oriented individual who demonstrates integrity, compassion, and adaptability.

Key Responsibilities

Coach, counsel, and discipline team members, providing constructive feedback to enhance performance.
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all hotel features, facilities, services, and hours of operation.
Possess full understanding of all room types, numbers, layouts, decor, appointments, and locations.
Stay informed about all room rates, special packages, and promotions.
Monitor daily house counts, expected arrivals, departures, and VIPs.
Be aware of room availability status for any given day.
Know scheduled in-house group activities, locations, and times.
Adhere to all hotel and departmental policies, procedures, LQA, and Forbes Standards.
During overnight shifts, proceed with Night Audit, prepare and distribute necessary reports, check and update arrival profiles in Opera, and prepare the Mondrian Hotel News for all departments.
Monitor the check-in/check-out process, anticipate critical situations, and provide assistance to ensure efficient guest processing.
Maintain positive guest relations consistently.
Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests regardless of business levels or time of day.
