About Accor and SLS The Red Sea

Accor is seeking a Food & Beverage Intern for SLS The Red Sea. SLS Hotels are recognized for their design and service within Ennismore’s lifestyle portfolio. SLS The Red Sea is located on the Red Sea coast and features 150 keys, five Food & Beverage venues, and a spa. The resort aims to provide a blend of experiences for guests.

Role Summary

This internship offers an opportunity for hospitality students to gain practical experience in Food & Beverage operations within a luxury resort setting. The intern will work alongside the Food & Beverage team to develop service skills and understand operational aspects of dining experiences. This role provides exposure to restaurant and bar operations in a luxury destination.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome guests and contribute to dining experiences.
Gain experience across restaurants, bars, and in-room dining, based on departmental needs.
Support daily service operations, including restaurant preparation, table settings, order taking, and food and beverage service.
Learn and apply brand standards in guest interactions.
Develop knowledge of menus, ingredients, beverages, and service techniques to assist guests.
Assist the team in delivering service and anticipating guest needs.
Understand restaurant operations, service sequences, hygiene standards, and food safety practices.
Collaborate with Culinary and other hotel departments to ensure smooth operations.
Maintain standards of grooming, professionalism, cleanliness, and attention to detail.
Participate in training and development opportunities throughout the internship.

Candidate Requirements

Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Tourism, or a related field.
Demonstrated interest in hospitality, guest relations, and creating guest experiences.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
An adaptable personality.
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, multicultural environment.
Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to service.
Flexibility to work various shifts in line with hotel operations.
Previous hospitality experience is an advantage but not required.
