Guest Services Associate Driver

About the Role

Rosewood AMAALA is seeking a full-time Guest Services Associate Driver in Saudi Arabia. This role is responsible for providing safe, efficient, and reliable transportation services for associates between the Amaala Staff Village and the Heart of House (HOH) areas, including additional scheduled routes. The position requires 2-5 years of experience and focuses on ensuring punctual operations, maintaining high vehicle cleanliness, and supporting leisure and special transportation needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport associates between Amaala Staff Village and HOH according to approved schedules.
• Operate assigned vehicles in strict adherence to traffic rules, safety regulations, and internal driving standards.
• Maintain awareness of road conditions, weather, and potential hazards.
• Ensure safe boarding and disembarking of associates at designated points.
• Follow daily transport schedules and ensure punctuality for all trips.
• Coordinate with the Transport Supervisor for timing adjustments during peak periods or special events.
• Support the planning and execution of weekly leisure trips for associates, such as shopping or beach excursions.
• Ensure the transport vehicle is cleaned daily, both inside and outside, to Rosewood AMAALA standards.
• Sanitize high-touch surfaces regularly in accordance with hygiene guidelines.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicle components including tires, fuel, AC, lights, and brakes.
• Report maintenance issues or safety concerns immediately to the Transport Supervisor.
• Adhere to all road safety protocols, seat belt requirements, and internal safety policies.
• Ensure the vehicle is equipped with essential safety gear, including a fire extinguisher and first aid kit.
• Assist in safe evacuation procedures during emergencies.
• Maintain a valid driving license and all necessary permits.
• Provide polite, respectful, and supportive service to all associates, adhering to Rosewood’s Relationship Hospitality principles.
• Assist associates with luggage or special requests as needed.
• Provide transport support for staff events, major movements, and onboarding batches.

OSHAD Responsibilities

• Take reasonable care of personal health and safety, and that of others affected by actions.
• Comply with OSHMS policies, procedures, and operational work instructions.
• Report hazards, unsafe conditions, or incidents immediately to the supervisor or Hygiene, Health & Safety Manager.
• Report all OSH incidents, near-misses, and work-related injuries.
• Avoid misuse of safety equipment, PPE, or systems.
• Participate in OSH-related planning and implementation activities.
• Attend all required OSH training sessions, including induction, toolbox talks, and refresher courses.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of relevant experience in a driving or transport role.
• Demonstrated ability to operate vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Valid driving license and necessary permits.
• Knowledge of traffic rules, safety regulations, and local road conditions.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Saudi Arabia, involving regular transportation duties between the Amaala Staff Village and HOH areas, as well as support for various leisure and special events. The role requires adherence to strict schedules and safety protocols to ensure a comfortable and dependable travel experience for all associates.
