Infrastructure Manager

About the Role

Al Salama Hospital is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Manager to oversee and maintain its ICT infrastructure and network systems. This full-time role focuses on ensuring the availability, reliability, and security of all systems. The manager will be responsible for planning and delivering technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency, support digital transformation initiatives, and ensure compliance with MOH, CBAHI, and JCI standards, aligning with the hospital's core value of humanization.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all ICT infrastructure, servers, and network operations to ensure uninterrupted hospital systems and services.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance for all servers and network equipment.
• Monitor infrastructure performance and implement capacity upgrades as required.
• Implement and enforce infrastructure security controls, including firewalls and access policies.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and ensure prompt patching of critical issues.
• Optimize system performance and resource utilization, reporting regularly to the ICT Director.
• Develop, maintain, and update disaster recovery and business continuity plans, including conducting recovery drills.
• Ensure regular backups of all critical systems and data, with tested restore procedures.
• Manage vendor relationships, evaluating vendor performance and service quality.
• Review and renew infrastructure contracts in a timely manner.
• Maintain an up-to-date ICT asset inventory and lifecycle records.

Team Leadership and Development

• Lead, coach, and develop the infrastructure team, which includes Server Infrastructure Engineers, Network Administrators, and ICT System Specialists.
• Set team goals, conduct performance appraisals, and foster teamwork and continuous improvement within the team.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in infrastructure management.

Collaboration and Compliance

The Infrastructure Manager will work closely with clinical and non-clinical departments, external vendors, and regulatory bodies to ensure that all ICT operations meet hospital standards and regulatory requirements.
