Kids Club Supervisor

About the Role

The Ritz-Carlton is seeking a Kids Club Supervisor to manage recreational activities and ensure a safe, engaging environment for guests. This full-time role involves creating activity agendas, overseeing supplies, and promoting guest participation while upholding the company's service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and advertise recreational activity agendas using publishing software.
• Conduct inventory of supplies, materials, and equipment, reporting low stock to management.
• Encourage, recruit, register, and schedule guests for recreation activities.
• Promote a positive and relaxing atmosphere for guests and provide information on available facilities and activities.
• Enforce recreation facility rules and regulations to ensure guest safety and welfare.
• Monitor activity in the facility, respond to emergencies according to procedure, and assist injured guests until medical services arrive.
• Clean and maintain recreational equipment and supplies.
• Assist management in training, motivating, and coaching employees, serving as a role model.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions; complete safety training and certifications.
• Adhere to company policies, maintain professional appearance, ensure confidentiality, and protect company assets.
• Anticipate and address guest service needs, including assisting individuals with disabilities.
• Communicate professionally, answer telephones appropriately, and foster positive working relationships.
• Process customer orders or transactions and collect payments as required.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and identify ways to improve organizational quality.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in a relevant role.
• Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats.
• Capability to visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines for defects.
• Proficiency in entering and locating work-related information using computers and/or point-of-sale systems.

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift.
• Capability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance, and objects over 50 pounds with assistance.
• Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination for grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of varying size and weight.
• Ability to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, and over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, including stairs and ramps.
• Capacity to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
