The Kids Club/Youth Club Assistant Manager will contribute to this vision by ensuring high-quality recreational experiences for guests.

Role Summary

The Kids Club/Youth Club Assistant Manager supports the daily management and operation of the hotel’s Kids Club, Youth Club, and various recreational activities. This full-time role focuses on providing engaging, safe, and memorable experiences for children, teenagers, and families. The Assistant Manager will assist in leading the Recreation team, developing activity programs, and upholding safety standards in line with luxury hospitality expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the daily operations of the Kids Club, Youth Club, and assigned recreation facilities and activities.
• Supervise, guide, and support Kids Club, Youth Club, and Recreation team members.
• Plan, coordinate, and implement engaging recreational, educational, creative, cultural, and entertainment programs for various age groups.
• Ensure activities are age-appropriate, inclusive, safe, and delivered according to established standards.
• Create personalized experiences for children, teenagers, and families.
• Monitor the supervision of children and teenagers, ensuring safeguarding and safety procedures are followed.
• Ensure proper registration, sign-in, sign-out, and authorized collection procedures.
• Maintain appropriate team-to-child supervision levels during all activities.
• Conduct regular inspections of Kids Club, Youth Club, recreation areas, equipment, and activity spaces.
• Ensure all facilities and equipment are clean, safe, organized, and well-maintained.
• Identify and report safety hazards, damaged equipment, maintenance requirements, or operational concerns.
• Assist in preparing weekly and seasonal recreation calendars and special activity programs.
• Support the organization of family activities, themed events, and special recreational experiences.
• Engage professionally with parents and guardians, providing clear information on activities and safety.
• Handle guest requests, feedback, and concerns professionally, escalating when necessary.
• Assist with team scheduling, task allocation, training, coaching, and performance monitoring.
• Conduct team briefings to ensure effective communication of operational information and guest requirements.
• Monitor recreational supplies, equipment, games, and materials, coordinating replenishment.
• Maintain accurate records, attendance information, incident reports, and operational documentation.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, child safeguarding requirements, health and safety procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Spa, Security, and other departments.
• Support Recreation management with departmental planning, reporting, budgeting, and operational requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Recreation management.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position within the recreation department of FAENA The Red Sea. The role involves working closely with various hotel departments to ensure seamless family experiences and maintaining high standards of service and safety.
