Laser Technician

About the Role

Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib (HMG) is seeking a Laser Technician to support laser procedures. This full-time role involves providing assistance and administrative tasks, utilizing comprehensive laser skills to ensure patient satisfaction. The position requires 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to all HMG policies, including obtaining an invoice before any procedure.
• Refer new patients to a Dermatologist for explanation and consent.
• Refer patients to a Dermatologist for any problems encountered during or after treatment.
• Communicate with patients in a polite, accurate, and timely manner, respecting their decisions.
• Prepare patients before and after treatment, ensuring their privacy.
• Provide health instructions regarding pre- and post-treatment care.
• Monitor and report any machine or accessory damages or problems to the CN, HN, and Bio-Medical engineers.
• Maintain confidentiality of all patient treatments and records.
• Book clients/patients for their next appointments.
• Manage the aftercare of all used items.
• Complete all documentation accurately and clearly once treatment is done, including parameters used, for reference.
• Orient and assist new staff members within the unit, identifying limitations and helping develop their skills.
• Provide patient and family education as needed.
• Participate in person-centered care initiatives undertaken by HMG.
• Enrich patient experience with compassion, respect, and dignity.
• Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the scope of work.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Education/Professional Qualification: Diploma, preferably a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or Laser Technology, or an equivalent qualification.
• Professional Licensing/Certification/Training: Valid Saudi Council Registration is required.
• Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience.
