The Locker Attendant Role

The Locker Attendant is responsible for maintaining guest rooms and ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. This full-time position involves responding to guest requests, managing room supplies, and performing various housekeeping duties.

Key Responsibilities

Respond promptly to guest and department requests.
Transport supply carts to assigned areas.
Enter guest rooms following established procedures, ensuring vacancy before entry.
Replenish guest amenities and supplies.
Replace dirty linens and terry with clean items, make beds, and fold terry.
Clean bathrooms, remove trash, dirty linen, and room service items.
Verify that all in-room appliances are present and functional.
Straighten desk items, furniture, and appliances.
Dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings.
Vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties in guest rooms and hallways.
Adhere to all company safety and security policies and procedures, reporting any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
Complete safety training and certifications, and properly store flammable materials.
Maintain a clean and professional appearance, and ensure confidentiality of proprietary information.
Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipate service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests professionally.
Communicate clearly and professionally with others.
Support team objectives and ensure adherence to quality standards.
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Physical Requirements

Ability to move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance, and over 25 pounds with assistance.
Capability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related equipment over sloping and uneven surfaces.
Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods throughout a work shift.
Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
