This full-time Maint/Eng Technician role is integral to ensuring operational excellence within PepsiCo's facilities.

Job Purpose

The Maint/Eng Technician is responsible for executing assigned tasks and work orders related to electrical and controls maintenance, as well as other engineering-related works. This role requires performing duties safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively within specified timeframes, contributing to the overall operational readiness and availability of equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve line availability and equipment readiness targets.
• Follow and review the PepsiCo Maintenance Methodology (PEMM) improvement plan.
• Perform assigned work orders and other tasks as directed by the supervisor.
• Solve technical problems, identify necessary actions, and determine parts requirements.
• Execute maintenance schedules to maintain plant equipment within engineering standards.
• Maintain and implement AIB standards.
• Update SAP PM & CM Work orders status.
• Identify the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of major and recurring problems.
• Ensure adherence to all safety policies and EHS Management System requirements.
• Operate all equipment related to Utilities sections.
• Maintain accurate SAP-PM records and updates for all assigned work orders.
• Perform daily parameter readings and monitoring as assigned.
• Provide daily reports of all shift activities.
• Support initiatives to improve production processes, quality, productivity, safety, and cost reduction.
• Support the execution of the site Maintenance and Reliability (M&R) Strategy.
• Support the implementation of Reliability Engineering tools and Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma in Electrical & Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years of industrial experience is preferred.
• Hands-on experience in electrical equipment troubleshooting, PLC, SCADA, instrumentation, and controls.
• Working background with LT & MCC, feeder panels, and control panels.
• Awareness of electrical safety standards and basic EHS systems.
• Knowledge of operating and automation systems.
• Knowledge of Quality and Food Safety (QFS) systems and policies.
• Ability to read and understand plans, diagrams, layouts, and schematic drawings relevant to the field.
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Basic computer skills, including MS Office applications.
• Knowledge in any Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) is a plus.
