ACWA Power is seeking experienced Maintenance Managers for upcoming full-time opportunities within its power generation and water desalination plants across Saudi Arabia. This role is crucial for ensuring the operational reliability and efficiency of critical plant infrastructure.

Role Summary

The Maintenance Manager will lead all mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation and control (I&C) maintenance activities. The primary objective is to ensure plant reliability, maximize equipment availability, and manage maintenance operations cost-effectively, adhering to contractual requirements, OEM recommendations, and stringent HSE standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement maintenance strategies, long-term maintenance plans, and departmental objectives in alignment with plant requirements and OEM recommendations.
• Lead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities across mechanical, electrical, and I&C disciplines to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Plan and manage major maintenance outages, including scope definition, resource allocation, contractor management, spare parts procurement, budget control, and execution timelines.
• Monitor maintenance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as equipment availability, Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), preventive maintenance compliance, and maintenance backlog. Drive reliability improvements through systematic root cause analysis.
• Prepare and manage maintenance operating and capital budgets, ensuring effective cost control and optimal resource utilization.
• Oversee spare parts inventory, manage OEM service agreements, supervise maintenance contractors, and ensure timely procurement to support continuous operations.
• Ensure strict compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards, the Integrated Management System (IMS), established maintenance procedures, and all relevant regulatory requirements.
• Lead, coach, and develop maintenance teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 12 years of experience in maintenance management within power generation or water desalination plants.
• Demonstrated expertise in leading multi-disciplinary maintenance teams (mechanical, electrical, I&C).
• Strong understanding of maintenance strategies, planning, and execution.
• Proficiency in budget management and cost control for maintenance operations.

Work Environment

This is a plant-based position located in Saudi Arabia. The role requires availability to support critical maintenance activities, planned outages, and emergency situations as needed to ensure operational continuity.
