Maintenance Technician

About the Role

Golden Elite catering services is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance and reliability of specialized airport operational equipment. This is a full-time position requiring 2-5 years of experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance activities while ensuring compliance with operational, quality, and safety standards within the aviation industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on specialized airport operational equipment in accordance with OEM recommendations and company procedures.
• Conduct inspections, diagnostics, troubleshooting, repairs, and functional testing to ensure equipment reliability and availability.
• Coordinate with internal technical teams and external OEM support to resolve technical issues.
• Ensure equipment is fully operational and available for daily airport operations.
• Perform pre-operational inspections and functionality checks before equipment is released for service.
• Maintain equipment performance and availability in line with operational KPIs.
• Prepare and submit daily maintenance reports and technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with all aviation safety, operational, and maintenance procedures.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and support emergency maintenance activities when required.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance equipment reliability and operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in the maintenance of airport ground support equipment (GSE), industrial equipment, or other specialized machinery.
• Strong working knowledge of electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Previous experience in aviation, airport operations, or ground handling is highly preferred.
