About the Role

St. Regis Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Mgr Sales I to join its team in the Red Sea region. This full-time position is responsible for actively recruiting and managing sales opportunities. The role focuses on ensuring timely and proper business operations to deliver services effectively, assisting in all daily sales-related activities, and building value-based, long-term customer relationships to achieve sales targets. The successful candidate will be expected to meet individual sales goals.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with external sales channels to ensure sales efforts are coordinated and complementary.
Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers to secure future bookings through sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, and trade shows.
Develop community relationships to enhance and expand the customer base for sales opportunities.
Manage and build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Provide accurate, comprehensive, and effective turnover to banquet management.
Participate in sales calls with team members to acquire new business or close deals.
Execute and support operational aspects of booking business, including generating proposals, writing contracts, and customer correspondence.

Market Analysis and Revenue Maximization

Identify new business opportunities to achieve individual and hotel revenue goals.
Understand the overall market, including competitor strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, and supply and demand, to inform sales strategies.
Identify optimal opportunities for the hotel based on market conditions and needs.
Understand the hotel's primary target customers and service expectations, serving them by understanding their business, issues, and concerns to provide better business solutions.

Customer Service Excellence

Support company service and relationship strategies to improve customer loyalty by delivering excellent service in every customer experience.
Serve customers to increase market share.
Execute and support the company's customer service standards.
Provide excellent customer service consistent with the company's daily service basic principles.
Set a positive example for customer relations.
Interact with guests and obtain feedback on product quality and service levels.

Qualifications and Experience

Two-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major, with 3 years of experience in sales and marketing or a related professional area.
Alternatively, a four-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major, with 1 year of experience in sales and marketing or a related professional area.
A minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience is required for this role.
