About the Role

Fengkai Group Co., Limited is seeking a Peer Reviewer in Entomology to join our team in Saudi Arabia. This is a long-term, stable part-time position that supports remote work. The role involves critically evaluating scientific manuscripts to ensure their quality, originality, and scientific rigor before publication.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess the novelty and originality of submitted manuscripts, determining if they contribute new knowledge or insights to the field of entomology.
• Evaluate the study design and methodology for appropriateness, comprehensiveness, and clarity to ensure reproducibility of research.
• Conduct a thorough literature review to confirm that the manuscript incorporates and cites relevant, up-to-date research.
• Analyze results and conclusions, verifying that data is presented clearly and appropriately, and that conclusions are well-supported by the evidence.
• Provide constructive feedback, suggesting improvements and highlighting any flaws, omissions, or ethical concerns within the manuscript.
• Offer recommendations regarding publication status (acceptance, revision, or rejection) to the journal editor based on the comprehensive evaluation.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in entomology or a closely related scientific field.
• Demonstrated expertise in scientific research and methodology.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for critical evaluation of scientific content.
• Excellent written communication skills for providing clear and concise feedback.
