Project Control Professional

About the Role

DAR ENGINEERING is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Control Professional to join their team in Northern Frontier, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is critical for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality and contractual requirements. The professional will provide essential support to project management through comprehensive scheduling, cost control, progress measurement, reporting, risk analysis, and performance monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage cost engineering, cost estimating, control, and analysis.
• Oversee planning and scheduling, including schedule development, control, and analysis.
• Establish criteria and system setup for all project controls activities.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using project management software such as Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Establish project baselines for scope, schedule, and budget.
• Monitor project milestones and critical path activities.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure work plans align with project objectives.
• Track project costs against approved budgets and prepare cost forecasts.
• Estimate project completion costs and identify cost variances, recommending corrective actions.
• Support budget preparation and financial reporting processes.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and commercial teams.
• Ensure alignment between project schedules, resource allocation, and deliverables.
• Facilitate project review meetings and track action items.
• Support project closeout and lessons learned activities.
• Maintain project control records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, contractual requirements, and industry standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and capacity building/talent development initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in project control.
• Demonstrated experience in managing cost engineering, cost estimating, control and analysis, planning and scheduling, schedule development, control, and analysis.
• Proven skill in establishing criteria and system setup for all project controls activities.
• Working knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and start-up/set-up work processes.
• Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 and MS Project.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Northern Frontier, Saudi Arabia. DAR ENGINEERING values work-life balance, with a maximum working week of 48 hours.
