QC Inspector Piping Project

About the Role

ABIS is seeking a QC Inspector - Piping - Project to join our team. This full-time, field-based role involves performing inspection and testing activities for piping fabrication and installation to ensure compliance with project specifications, welding procedures, and applicable codes and standards. The position requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final inspections on piping fabrication and installation works.
• Witness hydrotests, Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) activities (RT/UT/PT/MT), and other required tests as per the Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).
• Verify pipe fit-up, alignment, and welding against approved isometrics and Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).
• Verify materials, spools, and fittings against material certificates and specifications.
• Record inspection results and raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) as required.
• Coordinate hold points and inspections with client and third-party inspectors.
• Maintain inspection records, checklists, and daily QC reports.
• Verify the calibration status of measuring and test equipment used on site.
• Support punch-list generation and verification of closure for piping works.
