The Role of Rotating Technician (Level II)

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Rotating Technician (Level II) to join its team. This is a full-time position based in the Eastern region, requiring 5-10 years of relevant experience. The role involves supervising maintenance activities, coordinating resources, and ensuring compliance with established standards and safety practices.

Key Responsibilities

Allocate maintenance activities to technicians and assemble the necessary team.
Supervise all ongoing jobs and provide progress updates to the Foreman.
Organize manpower resources, equipment, and material availability for tasks.
Arrange necessary work permits prior to the commencement of work.
Provide technical advice to technicians regarding the proper use of tools and equipment.
Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance Planning, and Technical departments to execute and complete jobs efficiently.
Ensure accurate SAP data input, history, and actual hours are maintained.
Attend daily and weekly maintenance progress meetings.
Maintain strict compliance with SATORP standards and guidelines in all activities.

Safety and Compliance

Conduct Toolbox talks before commencing work.
Ensure compliance with safe work practices, hazardous work regulations, and proper PPE usage according to SATORP standards.
Encourage the reporting of Near Miss incidents, unsafe conditions, and unsafe acts.
Participate in Safety audits as required.
Attend scheduled Safety and Technical training sessions.

Experience Required

Candidates for this position should possess 5-10 years of experience in a relevant field, demonstrating a strong background in rotating equipment maintenance and supervision.
