The Role of Senior Coordinator - Transport and Distribution

Red Sea Global is seeking a Senior Coordinator - Transport and Distribution to join its team. This full-time position involves supporting the Transport & Distribution Department by gathering, cleansing, sorting, and aggregating data from various sources. The role requires consulting on business information and decision-making needs, as well as designing, planning, coordinating, and managing data to generate output reports and presentations. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with shipping companies to ensure timely and satisfactory arrival of shipments.
• Coordinate the flow of materials and products through distribution centers or warehouses.
• Maintain accurate inventory records to identify overstocks or shortages.
• Review orders to confirm correct fulfillment and inclusion of all necessary information.
• Plan routes and schedules for transport vehicles to meet delivery deadlines.
• Coordinate with suppliers or vendors to arrange deliveries of materials or products to clients.
• Develop new methods for storing or transporting goods to reduce costs or increase efficiency.
• Review shipping costs to determine the most cost-effective transportation methods.
• Provide logistical support to other departments within the company for events such as trade shows.

Experience and Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in transport, distribution, logistics, or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to gather, cleanse, sort, and aggregate data from various sources.
• Experience in consulting on business information and decision-making needs.
• Proficiency in designing, planning, coordinating, and managing data for report generation and presentations.
