About the Role

Starlinks is seeking a Specialist, Operations to join their team. This full-time role involves leading and supervising a team of operations staff to ensure the efficient and effective execution of logistics and supply chain activities. The Specialist will be responsible for coordinating workflows, providing guidance to team members, and driving performance to meet operational goals.

Role Overview

The Operations Specialist plays a central role in maintaining operational efficiency and productivity within Starlinks' logistics and supply chain framework. This position requires a proactive leader who can manage daily operations, foster a collaborative work environment, and ensure compliance with established procedures and policies. The successful candidate will contribute to optimizing resource utilization and managing operational expenses.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate the activities of operations staff to ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
Provide leadership and direction to team members, including assigning tasks, setting priorities, and monitoring performance.
Train and onboard new team members, ensuring understanding of roles, responsibilities, and safety procedures.
Monitor workflow processes and identify opportunities for improvement in operational efficiency and productivity.
Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics, procurement, and customer service, to coordinate operational activities and resolve issues.
Ensure compliance with quality assurance procedures, safety regulations, and company policies in all operational activities.
Implement inventory control measures to maintain accurate stock levels and prevent inventory discrepancies.
Lead warehouse operations, including inbound and outbound logistics, stock movements, and order processing.
Oversee the handling of returns, including processing returns, restocking inventory, and managing disposal.
Monitor and report on operational performance metrics, such as productivity, accuracy, and on-time delivery.
Address operational issues or concerns raised by team members, customers, or other stakeholders in a timely and effective manner.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, open communication, and continuous improvement.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to team members to support their development and growth.
Implement cost management strategies to control operational expenses and optimize resource utilization.
Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and a strong work ethic in all aspects of the role.

Qualifications and Experience

A relevant educational background is required.
Candidates should possess 2-5 years of experience in an operations-related field.
Demonstrated key behavioral and technical competencies relevant to operations management and team leadership.
