Supervisor Loss Prevention

About the Role

St. Regis Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Supervisor Loss Prevention to join its team in the Red Sea region. This full-time role involves overseeing security operations, conducting regular inspections, and ensuring the safety and security of guests, employees, and hotel assets. The position requires a proactive approach to loss prevention and a commitment to maintaining high standards of security.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular rounds throughout the hotel, secure rooms, and assist guests with room access.
• Lead emergency drills, daily security inspections, and physical hazard searches.
• Perform investigations, interrogations, and key control audits.
• Monitor CCTV equipment and alarm systems; authorize, monitor, and document access to secure areas.
• Assist guests and employees during emergency situations, including responding to accidents, contacting emergency services, or performing first aid/CPR as needed.
• Gather information and complete detailed reports while maintaining confidentiality.
• De-escalate tensions and resolve dangerous situations in compliance with company policies.
• Manage complaints and service interruptions, and escort undesirable persons off hotel property.
• Ensure compliance with alcohol control legislation and call for assistance using appropriate codes.
• Assist management in training, motivating, and coaching employees, serving as a role model for company policies.
• Follow and enforce all security policies, report maintenance issues, hazards, accidents, or injuries, and complete required safety training.
• Maintain a clean and professional uniform and appearance, and protect company assets.
• Support colleagues and the team in achieving common goals and comply with quality assurance standards.
• Greet and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, using clear and professional language in all communications.
• Remain vigilant to detect undesirable persons on the property and perform other tasks as requested by managers.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds (* kg) without assistance.
• Capability to assist in moving, lifting, carrying, transporting, and placing objects weighing over 75 pounds (34 kg).
• Capacity to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire shift, and move at required speeds (*, running, walking, jogging).
• Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats, and visually inspect tools, equipment, and machinery.
• Proficiency in entering and retrieving work-related information using computers and point-of-sale systems.
• Excellent fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects.
• Ability to reach objects overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Comfortable moving through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, and on sloped, uneven, or slippery surfaces and steps.
• Ability to ascend and descend stairs and service ramps.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of related work experience in a security or loss prevention role.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
