Role Summary

The Technical Architect is responsible for designing and leading the successful delivery of complex Salesforce solutions for customers. This role requires a blend of broad and deep technical knowledge, focusing on designing scalable, high-volume systems that integrate seamlessly with customer growth plans. The ideal candidate possesses a strong development background and proven experience in system integration via APIs, along with a mix of technical and enterprise architecture skills.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with client stakeholders to define requirements, deliverables, and manage expectations.
Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions leveraging the Salesforce platform.
Lead technical design sessions, architect, and document technical solutions aligned with client business objectives, identifying gaps between current and desired states.
Provide oversight and governance for Salesforce projects.
Define and enforce coding standards, leading code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to design patterns.
Manage the technical delivery of custom development, integrations, and data migration for Salesforce implementations.
Maintain a target billable utilization aligned with the role.
Understand project scope and perform deep-dive debugging for issues.
Participate in pre-sales activities, including discovery, technical deep-dive sessions, and Proof-Of-Concept (POC) development with prospects, as required.
Liaise with Salesforce product teams to support client implementations.

Required Qualifications

Strong CRM experience with a solid background on the Salesforce platform.
Senior leadership expertise.
Expert-level understanding of the Salesforce product suite, including Sales, Service, Community, Marketing, and Community Clouds.
Understanding of systems architecture and ability to design scalable, performance-driven solutions.
Understanding of key design patterns and large data volume limitations and best practices.
Understanding of data sharing and visibility considerations in platform architecture.
Familiarity with platform authentication patterns (SAML, SSO, OAuth).
Knowledge of data integration tools and experience integrating Salesforce with various business systems (ETL, CPQ, marketing automation, reporting, etc.).
Strong understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies.
Experience with platform security capabilities (TLS, SSL).
Expert-level experience defining system architecture landscapes, identifying gaps, and delivering comprehensive solutions for desired business outcomes.
Strong background in the design/development of large web-based systems or full software product lifecycle exposure.
Active Salesforce certifications or the ability to achieve relevant certifications upon hire.
Experience will be evaluated based on alignment to core competencies for the role (*, extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer work).
