Technical Manager

About the Role

UrbaCon Contracting & Trading Company is seeking a Technical Manager to join their team. This full-time position involves working on complex technical projects and managing multiple projects and work streams concurrently. The role ensures detailed technical investigation, design, and optimization, maintains proper liaison with statutory authorities, and oversees the production of necessary documentation and drawings to maximize efficiency and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support for the implementation of technical strategy and operational goals to exceed customer expectations for product development, quality, cost, and delivery.
• Identify and resolve technical design and constructional problems.
• Ensure a safe working environment within company workplaces and apply the Company Health and Safety Policy.
• Manage the technical team on project sites, providing directions, strategy, and daily/weekly/monthly tasks and work plans.
• Maintain strong relationships with all project key stakeholders and technical team members.
• Increase the efficiency of the technical team's performance through smart approaches.
• Ensure the quality of deliverables while managing staff budget effectively.
• Contribute to all important strategic decisions and directions for the project.

Team Leadership and Oversight

The Technical Manager may also be responsible for reviewing the work of other Technical Managers and overseeing the broader Technical Team. This includes guiding team members, setting clear objectives, and fostering an environment that drives technical excellence and maximizes overall efficiency.
