Warehouse Supervisor

About the Role

UrbaCon Contracting & Trading Company is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of its warehouse. This full-time role is essential for ensuring the safe and efficient storage and retrieval of products and materials, meeting both operational and customer demands. The supervisor will play a key role in maintaining smooth operations within a fast-paced environment.

Role Overview

The Warehouse Supervisor assists management in upholding operational efficiency and ensuring that all warehouse personnel adhere to health, safety, and standard operating procedures. This position is critical for maintaining inventory accuracy and optimizing warehouse facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain optimal utilization and upkeep of warehouse storage facilities.
• Organize, facilitate, and manage stock takes at regular intervals.
• Maintain the company’s integrated inventory management system database to ensure accuracy, standardization, and completeness.
• Manage daily inventory operations, ensuring compliance with approved policies and procedures.
• Lead the follow-up and resolution of customer concerns, identifying errors and implementing robust countermeasures to eliminate root causes.
• Collaborate with warehouse management to implement warehouse and management systems, integrating best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor and review operational methods to facilitate qualitative and quantitative improvements while ensuring continuous customer service.
• Supervise the processing of requisitions and requests for invoice reimbursements of warehouse codes, and complete requisitions for needed materials to assure adequate stock levels.
• Perform various inventory counts and order supplies and goods as needed.
• Support the implementation of HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in alignment with company and IMS policies.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in warehouse supervision or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to manage daily warehouse activities and personnel.
• Experience with inventory management systems and procedures.
