The Role
As a Media Relations Manager, you will leverage your 5+ years of experience to drive media relations efforts across Saudi Arabia. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with journalists and editors across major media outlets in KSA.
- Proactively pitching stories, interviews, and feature ideas in both Arabic and English.
- Diligently drafting and distributing press releases and securing media coverage.
- Monitoring editorial calendars and trends to identify opportunities for client engagement.
- Maintaining and expanding the agency’s media database.
- Preparing media placement reports to showcase secured coverage.
Skills Required
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Exceptional media pitching and relationship-building capabilities.
- Fluency in Arabic and English for both written and spoken communications.
- A solid understanding of current industry trends and the media landscape in KSA.
Experience
You should possess:
- A minimum of 5 years in media relations, public relations, or journalism, ideally within the Saudi market.
- A proven track record of placing news stories and press announcements.
