The National Committee for the Care of Prisoners, Released Individuals, and their Families (Tarahum) is a Saudi government committee established by a cabinet decision in 1422 AH (2001 AD), operating under the supervision of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development. The committee is concerned with providing care and empowerment services to prisoners, released individuals, and their families in Saudi Arabia. It coordinates efforts between governmental, non-profit, and private sectors to support them, and develops rehabilitation programs within correctional institutions to prevent recidivism and promote positive social integration.
