The Insurance Authority is an administratively and financially autonomous Saudi government entity, established by Cabinet Resolution No. (85) on August 15, 2023, and is organizationally linked to the Prime Minister. Its mandate is to regulate, supervise, and oversee the insurance sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, aiming to enhance its effectiveness and sustainability, protect the rights of policyholders and beneficiaries, promote insurance awareness, and stimulate innovation in insurance products and services, in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030 objectives.
