Al-Tarbia Al-Ahliya Schools were established in 1386 AH (1966 AD) with the aim of preparing generations connected to their Lord and religion, utilizing modern innovations and knowledge to enhance their capabilities and creativity. The schools were pioneers in opening the first secondary section for girls in private and public education in the Eastern Province, Dammam, in 1390 AH (1970 AD) by royal decree, even before the General Presidency for Girls' Education opened the secondary stage. This was followed by the opening of the girls' section in Al-Khobar, and in 1410 AH (1989 AD), a boys' section was opened in Al-Khobar.
