Middle East Battery Company (MEBCO) operates the latest and largest advanced technology plant in the region, manufacturing automotive sealed maintenance-free batteries for all types of cars. Established in 1995, it is a joint venture between Clarios, a global leader in advanced energy storage solutions, and prominent Saudi investors. The plant, constructed in 1997, is the only one in the Middle East producing ACDelco maintenance-free batteries.
