(NPC) is the largest and first large diameter carbon steel line pipe manufacturing company in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, holding API licenses API 5L-0140 (1980) and API 2B-0073 (2004). Established in 1978 as a joint venture between Saudi and Japanese investors (Nippon Steel Sumitomo Metal Corporation) with a capitalization of SR 200 million, the company manufactures steel pipes for various applications including the transmission of oil, natural gas, and water, as well as for structural use.
