Eastern Gateway Logistics Services (Eastern Gateway Bonded & Re-Export Zone) was established as a strategic investment entity to develop a multi-modal bonded and re-export zone located next to King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. It is considered one of the fastest-growing bonded and re-export zones in the Kingdom, covering an area of 100,000 square meters. Its purpose is to enable investors to store and re-export air, land, and sea shipments without customs duties, with the possibility of re-assembly and partial clearance. The zone operates under a 30-year Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) agreement issued by the General Authority of Civil Aviation and is classified as an inland port and a transit hub for GCC countries.
