It was founded in 1399 Hijri (approximately 1979 AD) by the late Tareed Dakheel Al-Enezi under the name Al-Dakheel Establishment, with activities including contracting, postal transport services, import, and export. In 1418 Hijri (approximately 1997 AD), the name Al-Sami Commercial Group was launched, and its first activity was school transport, making it the first specialized institution in this field in the Northern Borders Al-Jouf region.
