Shamah Autism Rehabilitation Center is a non-profit organization established in 2016 through a collaboration between Saudi Aramco and Shamou Al Amal for Special Education and Rehabilitation. The center aims to provide high-quality services to individuals with autism spectrum disorder aged 3 to 35, focusing on developing competencies, fostering cooperative partnerships, and promoting effective integration. It offers a variety of services including behavioral therapy, speech and language therapy, occupational and physical therapy, hydrotherapy, and family consultations, in addition to educational courses and vocational training programs. The center also strives to enhance community, school, and family awareness of issues faced by people with disabilities. It is the first center of its kind in the Middle East to receive CARF international accreditation.
