SINOPEC Tech Middle East LLC (STME) was established in 2017 by Sinopec Corporation and is located in Dhahran Techno Valley, Dammam, Saudi Arabia. It serves as Sinopec's second overseas R&D institution, functioning as a technical R&D center and support hub for upstream, downstream, and new energy development in the Middle East. STME is also a platform for technical exchange and cooperation, promoting Sinopec's specialized technologies and high-end products in the region. The center coordinates the development of core technologies in oil and gas exploration and production, petroleum engineering, refining and chemical engineering, and new energy, aiming to deliver high-value services and localized technical support.
